My vision of slogan: ”Once you go root, you never reboot!” you can find here: [link]
Made with MyPaint on Nokia N900.
root –noun a part of the body of a plant that develops, typically, from the radicle and grows downward into the soil, anchoring the plant and absorbing nutriment and moisture.
boot –noun a covering of leather, rubber, or the like, for the foot and all or part of the leg.
Thanks. It was made because I don't think average computer buyer has any idea what does “root” and “boot” mean in computer sense. So maybe they imagine that slogan like this picture. In other words: “Once you grow root, you never change boot”.
Yep, delightful pune. Part of the cuteness with the original slogan is that a) hardly anyone will understand it and b) it's utterly wrong since Ubuntu doesn't allow you to go root very easily because of the security issues.
